If you are ever anywhere near Jerome, AZ (close to Sedona) you must go to this place: !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Not only are the roads around this town a freaking blast but the place is amazing, it's like those dreams you use to have when you were a kid. There are old trucks, machinery, heavy equipment, and cars everywhere. You pay like $5 to get in. I thought it was going to be cheesy when we first decided to go to it, ended up being the best decision we made that weekend.
Below are a few pictures I took while there (though just posting now since I came across them while moving some folders around on the computer)…though I seem to have lost most of them somehow. Some of the of the highlights not included in the pictures were an FC Jeep, old Oshkosh trucks, an old Shell Oil Tanker, a Cummins engine that supposedly held some kind of operational longevity record (can't quite remember what though), and a big ass engine (like 8ft+ tall) that ran at a power station (apparently you can pay to have him fire it up, unfortunately I did not see this).
Also, the guy who owns the place is a f'ing riot. He's happy to talk to anyone and if you get the chance definitely stop and chat with him a bit.

That guy rides a flathead Harley with a sidecar around town for the tourists.
Popular bumper sticker in that town:
Jerome, Arizona.
Population > Strange.
